The first month of the new decade has been a busy one for the Terence Lewis team!
January saw the professional dancers of the Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company (winner of India’s Best Dance Company) criss-crossing the country to provide high-impact entertainment acts for leading corporate companies, with multiple shows in Kolkatta, Delhi, Chennai and Mumbai… wowing the audiences everywhere they went.
Over at the TLPTI, saw not one, but two of its Diploma in Dance Foundation batches pass out, in well-received finale shows at the end of their respective courses. The presentations were, as always, hosted by Master Terence Lewis himself (TLPTI Founder and Artistic Director) and Mahrukh Dumasia (Programme Director of the TLPTI) and attended in large numbers by the enthusiastic families and friends of the performing students. The students showcased what they have learned through the diploma in dance course, putting up pieces in contemporary dance, jazz, hip-hop, ballet and even yoga! The presentations ended on a high note with the classes receiving certificates from Master Terence and naturally, posing for photographs with him too!
